Cable Car Ice Cream Truck

Cable Car Ice Cream Truck! I was originally gonna do a taco truck instead, but I went with Ice cream because of the more playful theme.

This was an old drawing that I redrew in Adobe Illustrator since I needed to get use to drawing with that program. Gotta do the uncomfortable till it become comfortable!

I wanted to make something that was more of a simple and cute design. Also went into flash and made a walking animation of this character.

Had a lot of fun working on this one! I felt my drawing skills and story telling improved a lot from working on this piece!

The assignment was to design a barbershop with a certain theme.I chose a sports theme...We had a day of class where we would walk around SF to check out all the old barbershops to take photo reference and to get a feel for the place...Being an artist is more than just drawing, you have to really study your subject and make it believable, almost like an actor having to get into character.
